A great night
Tonight~ I had an excellent night. It was a night spent with great friends and new people. I went to a birthday and talked with my old girlfriends. I also chatted with some people who I had just met. This night has made me realize a few things. First, I am so lucky to have a group of girlfriends who I can laugh with, talk with and play flip cup with (I only had water in my cup). These girls have been there since high school and I am so glad. Second, I met a girl named Annie who was amazing. The two of us sat and talked about our lives and our families. Well, I did most of the talking. But it was nice to tell her about myself. And maybe that sounds a little concieted but it isn't meant to be. She listened to the synopsis of my book and I am glad for that. Thank you Annie. Lastly, it made me realize that true friends are better than the ones who don't stick around. I know quite a few people who are elbow rubbers. And you might know some elbow rubbers yourself. These are the people who are in it for the 5 minutes of gratification they get from being with someone of importance. These people don't care about the people who care the most. They just want to say "Yeah, I went to dinner with ________ (insert name of person of importance here)." I have no room for those people in my life. I really only want people who love me and are honest in my life. I want the people who are trustworthy and kind and genuine. Elbow rubbers signify none of these traits. So to all my old friends, and my new ones~ Thank you for being there with your ears open and your hearts welcoming.

Busy Weekend

We had a very busy weekend. Friday I DJ'ed a graduation party and didn't get home until 1 which means I didn't get to bed until 2 am. Saturday I awoke to a message on my machine from a friend. Andrea wanted to see if I wanted to go to Barnes and noble to read the newest sneak peak chapter to Breaking Dawn. I WAS going to go back to bed but how can a girl pass up on the Twilight series. LOL. After that Liv and I traveled to toys R Us to get a gift for someone. We then headed to a bowling party on Saturday which was quite fun. They had a moon rock bowl party with tons of Hannah Montana and Jonas brothers music. WOOOHOOOO! We the went to the Schvanefeldts for a cook out and it was great to see our church friends and hang out for a bit. Though I am not thouroughly convinced that I have NO MUSICAL talent AT ALL. After getting home late, we woke up early and went to church. After church Olivia had her gymnastics meet. Let me tell you folks, that girl is amazing. Her class were all supposed to do round off or backhand spring during their performances but Olivia did a back layout. She had so much power after rebounding out of her round off that when she went to do her handspring, her hands didnt even touch the ground! Of course on camera you can hear me scream with excitement. I am so very proud of her. She is truly a great girl. We got home and all went to bed. Today starts a new week. Summer is here and lots of fun things are ahead for us:) I'm out~

PS: for those of you who do not know what hand springs and that kind of thing are, I have posted pics. No they are not of Liv, we only videoed that performance. These are just for reference. The right is a back handspring, what she was supposed to do. The one on the left is a layout, what she did

My First Blog
My very first blog! Holy Moley. I guess I will blog when I feel the urge. So an update on me~ Currently we are approaching the last days of school (By the way, I will use "we" quite frequently. This usually means me plus someone). YEAH! I am seriously sick of packing peanut butter and jelly sandwiches everyday. Don't tell anyone but I got so sick of it sometimes that I would keep Olivia home...sad? YES! But very true. Anyways, I am excited that school is done with....I only have 11 years of this to go...GOOD LUCK to those of you who have not started school yet. However, the way I am, I will be ready to send her back by, oh 5 days....LOL. Other than that, I am still on my very not normal obsession with the Twilight series. Again, sad? VERY. Hey, I don't dog you on your obsessions...NKOTB ANYONE?!?! Yeah you! So there will be a scene from the movie airing on the MTV Movie awards. I have cleared my schedule for the day. I even bought a new outfit and am having my hair done. LOL I SAID LAY OFF ME! Other than that, James still drives me nuts and everyday I wish he were more like Edward. Haha, JOKE PEOPLE! Well, TOODLES! I'm Out~
